CORE COURSE

Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Europe
Fall/Spring, 3 Credits
This course teaches tools and skills required to succeed as an entrepreneur — and lets you apply these tools in a real-life project. You gain an understanding of innovation in various settings looking at new business models and emerging technologies. And you develop a real start-up project using entrepreneurial methods based on structured customer engagement, hypothesis building, prototyping and pitching to investors — all in fast iterations. Studying texts and writing papers are really not the primary ways to learn about entrepreneurship. In this course, you instead work hands-on, in a team, developing a startup that solves a real problem.
Week-Long Study Tour: Berlin or Dublin
Core Course Week: Southern Sweden
Note: This course is cross-disciplinary, and you must be prepared to engage and take ownership of start-up projects.
Recommendation: Entrepreneurship Practicum
