Money Management

jk

All students face the challenge of money management, taking advantage of available local experiences within a fixed budget. Be aware that ATMs are common, but also charge service fees for each withdrawal, as will your home bank. To get better bang for your buck, try to go to ATMs only once a week.

Students abroad must also consider exchange rates when planning activities. Because exchange rates can fluctuate widely, the Office of Global and Off-Campus Initiatives recommends use of the XE CURRENCY CONVERTER, which gives daily updates.
