Weekend Travel

colors

As noted in the behavior contract, students should endeavor to form deep connections with their host culture by exploring local sites and communities on the weekend. However, occasional trips to nearby cities in the region can also help develop a global perspective.

When making these excursions, you must notify the local program leadership and host families of the destinations and all travel details you intend to pursue well before your departure. Remember that missing class for personal excursions is strictly prohibited.

With even moderately careful planning, students can travel and book accommodations at reasonable rates. The following sites are among those most often used by students engaging in international education.
